Have you experienced the rubbing on the front plastic fender liners, yet? My tire combination was tall enough to allow rubbing at higher speeds and hard bumps. I went under the fender and cut basically a 6" X 6" hole in the liner (just above the tire) and then heated and folded the edges up to meet the metal fender well that is behind the plastic one. I now have more clearance and it works great. It appears that you have 17" rimis, but I don't know about your tire diameter. Mine were 20" tires that were 30.4" in diameter.

Where did you get your mirrors? the wind reduction and the weight savings on the factory exhaust you may get better MPG's. Hows it sound now?
Can you do a video?

Those look like the ones that I used on mine, they are from Street Scene. I put the same style on mine and they are an exact replacement. Mine were electric and heated. The changeout is easy, once you figure out how to take the inner door panels loose.

I also changed my exhaust, but used a Magnaflow muffler and have dual outlets at the bumper. I am now look at a roll pan and hidden hitch.

yeah they are street scene i got em from Summit Racing.Ill try to do a video of how my exhaust sounds i like it!!Yeah i would like to do a roll pan too i have been researching it some and it looks like it will have to be a three piece due to the bumper recesses on either side.

Actually there are roll pans out there that will be one piece. It just depends if you want a fiberglass one or a roll panthat is made of urethane. The pans are shaped to go around the truck and fit into the recesses. I have a friend in Emporia, Ks that runs a sport truck shop, and I order through him. His prices are as good a Summit's any day and he is quick on delivery. If there is a problem, i don't have to do returns by phone.

That looks a lot like a street scene Generation 2 pan. I have been considering the generation 1, myself.

This is a 4/6 inch drop from McGaughy's. I have had it on the truck for about a year, now.

i have a mcgaughys 4-7 on my truck now but since its a V6 it sits higher in the front than the rear so thats why im thinkin of dropping the front some more

Let me make a recommendation. Keep the same McGaughy's springs and go with a set of struts from Belltech that allow for either a 2" drop or a two " lift by just changing the rings on the spring mount. That is what I did to get a bit smoother ride, due to the strut's efficiency and to make sure that I had the right ride height. The struts mount in place of your factory struts and work right along with the McGaughy's kit.

Just read the strut info on that link. It states that on some models a full 2"
lowering setting may require extra parts (alignment shims?) wondering if you've done these struts? I'd love a 2" drop in front. It'll be a very long time till I can afford spindles to get my 08 lower.

I am running those struts and we set the truck at one ring short from the stock height number. Each ring is good for aobut 1/2" difference. Now I will tell you that the only real hinderance to the lowering is the plastic front fenderwell. I wore a hole in both of mine in a week, so I applied a little NASCAR thinking and cut an opening in the top of the plastic liner. (there is a steel fenderwell behind the liner). I then heated and folded the edges of the plastic liner opening up against the steel fender liner and pop riveted them to it. I gained a good inch more clearance and it works fine. I sealed the edges with an undercoating material. I have not put any special alignment items on the truck as of yet, but it has been aligned.

I have 20" factory rims that have a 30.4" diameter tire on them. A smaller tire will clear easily.
