Wow, i like that a lot! Something about 42 inch tires that always wins me over:rolleyes: What state is that in and is it street legal because of the lowered extension on the front bumper? I think the law 'round here is 30" to the bottom... I'm gonna pull the same trick as that guy. Nice truck:flag:

I just got this one from Joe [JoesJunk], it;s a 68 on a 71 chassis with 350-350, np-205, power steering and power disc brakes, tilt wheel, mostly original paint, original wood bed and stock suspension.
I have a 4'' lift and a new set of 35"s but cant decide whether to use them on this truck, drove it home last night [ about 60 miles ] and it ran great. Thanks Joe |
Blazerman, if you ever get sick of staring at those 35's, i know where there's a good home for 'em ;) ;) :D

cant pass up a chance to show my pride and joy lol:D

What is a traction lift, ie; 2" traction ?
|
well
a traction lift is like a 1 half of a leaf spring that when installed under your springs give you 2 inches of lift. the rear of the traction lift is attached to the leaf springs.

Here is one of mine, (the other is used for plowing snow). It is a
71 with a 400sbc, TH350 connected to an NP 205 transfer case. Tires are 31.5, no lift. It has tinted glass, rear slider, black interior, tilt steering, tach, and an AM/FM radio. It is fun to drive and you can surprise folks at the lights, (not that I ever do that). Jim |

YUKON JACK-well if you ever come back to town.... you can come look me up. I live on the outskirts of the city limits on 31 hwy. it is about 2 miles North of town on your way towards Burlingame if you know how to get there. I am only only eighteen and still goin to high school but I do know quite a bit about these trucks and chevelles, I might just know if there is anything lying around this area useful to ya. I will probably be working on the 71 if you swing by. TREVOR aka. 71blksuper4x4
