Looks good,... but you have your center link on backwards.
The inner tie rods need to connect to the back side of the center link. This has caused problems for other member recently. |
Re: 68 Burb... here we go!!
Nice, good looking out Keith!! I will swap that around. I should have gone back to my reference pics I took before the tear down.
Thanks dude. Juan |

well UPS left me something at the door. What a difference a little chrome makes..... makes me wonder if its overkill a bit. I could always put this one on the Nova and take the new disc disc MC from it and put it on my truck... Nahhh LOL. Have a good night guys.

well I started on the rear about a month ago. I installed a CPP notch and it was not low enough. So a call to Nate at PB was made and a weld in notch kit and a ta xmember was ordered. I got it in and have started the tear down again. I knew I wanted this the first time... you all know how that goes. More pics to come very soon. I removed the shock tower bar today and some other stuff that is in the way... now the list of things I want to change and make better keeps growing!!

Re: 68 Burb... here we go!!
I must say it was fun pulling the sawzall out and cutting up the exhaust to get it out of the way. The first hole and cut in the wood was hard to do but I got over it quickly.

well just playing with some ideas on painting my susp parts. It will either be matte black or this blue. This is the blue that the truck is going to be painted. What do you guys think? I am not sure either way. Well no big update just waiting on parts....
|
Re: 68 Burb... here we go!!
Are you going to do the whole frame one color or accents? What other colors will be on the burb? I did a frame in black and silver that came out super clean....was planning to paint the shocks, engine, tranny, and driveshaft to match the body.
|
Re: 68 Burb... here we go!!
:agree: maybe do some in this blue and some in black!!!:metal:
|
Re: 68 Burb... here we go!!
Silver and blue on the burb. The frame is black so maybe just some accents will do.
