Re: Tragic event has occurred!

I should have the bottom end together next weekend. The week after that the top end should be buttoned up pending on push stick length. By week three I'm shooting for the dyno. The 4th week getting the new headers hooked up.
My main goal is to be race ready by June 18th for a Chevy show down race.

Its been a while so I figured I would give a status on the motor build.
Its almost together now. Had a few hick ups. I had to find a oil pick up tube that gave the pan the clearance needed. I order a canton pick up tube. Its always the small details that can bite ya. Now waiting on the intake to come back from the machinist. I port matched the heads to the intake.

Thanks,
Man oh man I can't wait either. I'm shooting for 40 more HP with the intake port work and new cam profile along with the bigger tube headers.
I thinking once you hit the 600 hp mark it takes a lot more shiny go fast parts for the HP numbers to start to climb.

HELL I hear that!
I drilled and tapped my intake runners for a nozzle kit. For a day when I want to run with the big guys.

Thanks everyone wish me luck.
The motor hits the dyno Friday.
I'm going to hit it with the single quad then switch over to the dual.
I'm going to set the timing @ 38 break it in and let it rip.

Man, that looks good! I'll be curious to know what you pick up with the dual quads.
