Working on a new coal fired power plant. The truck is still at home in the garage, and I still am running Wyoming plates on my TITAN.

Are you working at Neil Simpson? I manufacture coal mill parts for the Neil Simpson and Wyodak stations.

By the way, :welcome2:

No sir, I am working on Nebraska City Unit #2 for OPPD. I've heard of both of those plants though. Thanks for the welcome.

Very cool. We use to provide some wear parts for the Foster Wheelers some years ago. We haven't spoke to anyone there in a while, didn't know they were building another unit. What part of the unit are you working on?

I am working on engineering problems with the boiler and turbine areas. I am quite literally a "field engineer" if you will, rerouting pipe and re-engineering supports as needed. This unit uses the existing plants coal handling system, the only thing we have to install is the tripper floor, coal silos, coal feeders, pulverizers, ect...

Cool. We mainly design/manufacture wear parts and performance upgrades for the pulverizers (vane wheels/air ports, pyrite scrapers, classifiers, etc), plus some other things like burner isolation valves, burner tips, some PF piping, plus about any fabricated part a plant might need. When I'm here I do mainly design work. It's fun stuff to do.
