Here is a link to one of my favorite trucks. They shortened the box. although they used a monte carlo frame and running gear, but you can tell the distance between the fender and the cab are shorter. I think it looks great. I have also seen one in person from a guy I bought parts off of. He didn't even think to use a longbed frame. I have pics of others I'm sure. but it would take me a while to dig through all of them. If I come across any I'll post them up. |

Same wheels as most GM mid size cars. 5 on 4 3/4". Should be an easy fix for you. Spares from a junk yard are cheap.

i live in louisiana, an it is sad of what is bein hauled off to the scrap yards around here an in mississippi, only thing most people c r the dollar signs, an i to had a bunch of stuff left over after i put a malibu clip under my 49, but i wasnt worried about makin money off any thing, i just wanted to make sure it didnt go to the scrap yard so i gave it all away to people that used an needed it, its not always about the money

dont no if yaw have thought about it but if your lookin for used stuff u could call the people that haul off your old vehicles an they could help u find alot of parts from frames to engines r anything an they will treat u rite most of the time, i have used them around here a couple of times an works out great
