Sorry on the confusion, the tires are actually 315/75/16s and do rub on full compression.

Current lift is TC EZ 2.5 inch with 4.5in HD front shackles, rear is a 2.5 block with a 1 in zero rate.

The previous 255/85s which were 32.5 installed height on stock late rallys did not rub at all with or without the lift.

Thanks. You have a 465 or 420 in your burb? 221? What colors did you use?

Long story about paint colors on my trans/tcase...
Short story, I had the trans/tcase out at a shop to fix a few things and they painted everything black.

My tcase is the original Rockwell T-221

Sorry just saw your reply, wish the notify would work for me.

What is the correct color for your trans/t case? 420 married? Ive seen restored setups in that gloss red color everyone says is correct but never an original example with that color only the oxide red.

Wow, being a SAHD and moving a few times since the last post really makes time fly! The burb has been doing daily driver status since the trans went in and got 30K miles on it with no issue except for t case spewing gear oil when over filled on the freeway. The NoSpin sure makes more noise than the Detroit in my 14bolt but damn the traction is a dream with the MTs. New front drive shaft just went in but thats about it mechanically. Super reliable and easy to maintain, sure glad I didnt buy anything new!

Lots of camping and dirt roads, wore out a set of KMTs and got a set of new rims and another set of 255s. With the use of the burb and my 74 C30 3+3 I was able to build a house and move 1200 miles to WA and tow my other treasures a 56 VW convertible and a 15 window bus. The burb towed the bug and was a piece of cake on a 22hr cannon ball. The C30 with bus was a little slower taking 30 hours with a stop due to fog in OR. Was surprised to measure in at 16K GCVW but equipment trailer and all my important tools weighed more than expected. Burb got 9mpg and the C30 managed 6mpg with stock crate 350, SM465, 4.10s going 60 most of the way. One thing for sure when the burb need a brake overhaul Im for sure putting in hydroboost. It sure made controlling the load much easier than regular vacuum booster.

I had to drive the burb this winter season and washed down the chassis every day to wash any salts but will see what damage is done once it stops raining in a few months. Burb is in its element with 20 acres of mud to play in and a 1/2 mile long dirt road to the property.

Maybe be able to make the PNW C10 show tomorrow if I can wash her down, maybe just show up all muddy as seen in the wild.

The exodus is real. We bought our property 8 years ago when prices for acreages were reasonable. Since the germ property values are through the roof making all the old farmers move to ID (or wish they could). Its a sight to behold, never thought gentrification of farm land was possible.
