Yukon Jack-Not only looking good, but sounding good. Like the fake shifter. (just a joke) Nice work. Dion-Nice burnout. Another good sounding truck.

The seats are out of a 1998 Chevy Silverado.

Grendel, I went to a local upholstery shop, Morgan Bulleigh Co., and they had the fabric in stock.

Thank for the information. I've checked a few around here, nothing.

How much was it? Would you be willing to spin by and grab more, if you happen to be in that neighborhood? I'd happily pay you for your time. How much fabric did you use?

Also, can you grab a measurement for me? I need from the cab wall to the rear mounting foot. I am trying to figure out placement, I started playing with these last night. What others did will help me decide where to place it. I could mount them for me, then someone else will have issues with knees eating the steering wheel or not reaching the pedals!!

I am working on a mounting system for the seats. What did you do for this? Basically, I assume the cab floor is too weak to support the seats and seatbelts in an impact.

The fabric was really cheap and I would be happy to pick it up for you and send it to you, it is just a few blocks from work so wouldn't need anything for my time. How much material do you want? Enough to do the door panels or do you need more?

I responded in your thread on how I mounted these seats.

Looking very solidly mounted! I dig that old school steering wheel BTW.

How much material did you use on your panels?

I may want to do my back panel in it as well. Like you, I took out my gas tank.

Re: Video from yesterday on the way to work

I wrapped the material around the panel and have about 1" or so extra. The material is 54" wide and you just buy it as long as you need. Just tell me how many feet you want me to buy and I will get it. I will drive the truck to the upholstery shop so we get the correct material.

How about 6 yards then. Want to be sure I have enough.

Especially if it's cheap :)

Ready with Paypal.

quote from my 4 yr old daughter while watching your video..... "Daddy, is that you in your truck?" My reply, "No dear." Her reply, "Oh. He's got fur (on his arm) just like you...."

made me laugh.
