Re: after 4 1/2 years....
Very sanitary! Clean, simple, and to the point.....and a big block with a manual....4 or 5, or maybe a 6 speed?
Beautiful truck.......take a bow! I grew up just down south from you....Council Bluffs. |

Re: after 4 1/2 years....
Congratulations. It just makes me feel good watching you folks with yours, because it means there is hope for mine to actually be finished, or at least together.

Re: after 4 1/2 years....
Thanks to all for the compliments. I actually hesitate to thank you because I suppose it looks like I'm just doing it to bring this thread to the top of the topics again. That is not what I want to do. I sincerely appreciate the kind words.

Very nice.
Tell us about the AC compressor and mounts. Short waterpump or long? It looks so nice and neat. TIA - Bob |

Re: after 4 1/2 years....
That looks great. I'm just a little behind you. I've been on mine about 5 years now, and hopefully it will be on the road in another couple of weeks. Actually I guess I'm a long ways behind you, since I haven't even touched the interior yet.

Re: after 4 1/2 years....
4 1/2 years well spent! Congrats!

Re: after 4 1/2 years....
Again, I am not wanting to bring this to the top to keep it there. I want to answer the questions that have been asked.
matthufham(hope I have that right) - that is the original glove box door. The interior had not been beat. I just cleaned it up and turned out pretty good. Bob Moore - I bought Alan Grove mounts for the A/C and Alt. They were too tall so I cut them down to as close as I could to the rocker arm covers. I have had to remove the covers for mechanical reasons and I got them just as close as possible. As far as the water pump I think I have the long one. It's been too long, I don't remember for sure. |
Re: after 4 1/2 years....
WOW! What a change from the last pic Ive seen of it. It turned out GREAT! Congrats...corn
