Re: P/S for a 67 4x4
Steve,
I want to eventually have a bone-stock, restored 67 K-2500 with all the bells and whistles too. There was a 67 or 68 4x4 Suburban on E-bay about a year ago or so that had the original PS setup, it went for more than I wanted to pay just to get an original setup though. I've been watching for them for about two years now and that's the only one I've ever seen. The setup looks like it uses some of the same parts as the 2WD power steering but most of the mounting hardware is different. I just have to keep looking, I'll have one someday! Bob |

Re: P/S for a 67 4x4
Hmmm\
It looks like the engine sits higher in the frame from a K10. Thanks, I am going to look at my truck |
Re: P/S for a 67 4x4
How about a later model p/s system from, say, 73 and later? I also have a 67 K10 and am thinking this may work. I have no idea though... there are plenty of 73-8? trucks around here so I am hoping this is feasable. Or from a van? Eh???

Re: P/S for a 67 4x4
haven't checked back in a while. I can put P/S on my truck with no problem.
The problem is that I want to have a 67 4X4 system and the orginal set up is a ram system. that's what need |
