Re: new here
If you don't mind me asking, what other cars have you kept since new?
|
Re: new here
No don't mind you asking Jack. A 64 electra 225 rag top, 68 Chevelle, 71 LTD and 72 Centurian. Had some before and in between, but these have special memories.

For those that like pictures. Went out today and shot some. Kinda ashamed of the way it looks now. (never has looked this bad) made a couple changes to fit my needs. Used to camp, fish, hunt with it a lot. Bed opens to fill the back, and cut up an old cabin tent to go over gates. No motor home, but I can get it where I want to go. Hope I'm not boring you all. But nice to talk jimmy blazer.

Re: new here
Good looking jimmy! Wish my dad had kept all the vehicles he bought back in the late 60's early 70's.:(

Thaks Krue. But money wise I really messed up on one I got rid of. Picture of 66 plymouth I also ordered. Sold it in 70. BIG MISTAKE. I know this is truck forum. But none of my older wheels were trucks. When I was young trucks never left the farm. But thought might let you now, I'm not smart on what to keep. These guys on here from what I've seen have more talent in their little finger than I do in my whole body. Some of the projects they bite into are amazing. It's far easier to keep them up, than to fix them up. My hats off to you guys. And thankfull you are saving the old iron from the crusher.

Re: new here
Thanks for the pics. and memories. I've had a few I shouldn't of let go myself.
Wouldn't mind if the LTD was crushed:lol: just kidding Nice truck, very functional... J. |
Re: new here
Great mods.
I like seeing the "real world" trucks more than "trailer queens" anyway. |
Re: new here
The Jimmy looks great to me - it is modified to do what you need and that is what it is all about. Making what you want/need.

Re: new here
BTW, that 66 Plymouth is so cool. What were it's stats. Would really enjoy seeing more pictures of your older vehicles whether you still have them or not. I was born in 67 so I missed out on these vehicles when they came out but sure do appreciate them!

Re: new here
Welcome from Bluemont, Va. Good to see original owner iron.

Re: new here
Sorry didn't give any stats on 66 jack. My age showing again. Thought the emblem on bottom of fender said it all. It was a 426 Hemi, 4 speed, 2 afbs, 456 dana. was real scary car in its day. Don't think this is the place to post this sort of thing. will try the private massage thing if you want more. Sorry guys.
