Re: 1964 Suburban Pics
lol It'll look great when you get it done. There's no nicer look IMHO than big rims tucked up in the fender wells. Keep us posted.

Re: 1964 Suburban Pics
Hell, while we're at it, why don't we slam it. ;) (and make a photochop look a bit cleaner)

Re: 1964 Suburban Pics
Sometimes I think this site is a little to progressive for me or I am a little to old fashion. I was digging the looks of the white Burb with the factory stance. Oh well, I never liked bell-bottoms either. In any case, nice rig, no matter how it sits.

Re: 1964 Suburban Pics

It was already lowered in the first pic, Tony. I guess some of us like to stay in the lines when we color; others like to draw their own picture. |

Balmy 82 in Phoenix while I started my bag install..........showing the tank location and my valve mount bracket that will fit behind the tank and in front of the bumper..........its a little tight!!! The compressors will go on either side of the frame.

Updating this thread and my bag install........been awhile and its 'cuz this thing has been fighting me the whole way.
My valve rack is complete.....couple old dizzy hold downs worked well on the valves. You can see the compressors and the tank.....cleaned up stuff and painted stuff....trimmed the bumper brackets for the compressors to clear and the final pic is the valve rack installed and everything grounded. Everything is EXTREMELY tight in there and I assembled and disassembled this crap about three times!!!!:m6::cuss::mad::censored: I thought the suspension stuff would be hard; I think that stuff is going to be easy. Thanks for all the nice comments and good luck with all the trucks going together everywhere..........get 'em on the road while we can still afford some gasoline!!!!!!!!!!! |
Re: 1964 Suburban Pics
sweet, can you explain the ins and outs of the valves. I assume the open 90s in the middle is the outlet for the dump valves? inlet from the tank goes into the end valves and out through the T's to the 4 bags? what kind of compressor is that? I'm cataloging info for future reference, planning to bag my '64 in the next couple months:thumbs:
thanks for the pics |
Re: 1964 Suburban Pics
jeff looks good, it was good to talk to you today
|
Re: 1964 Suburban Pics
or maybe i have it bass ackards? the 90's are the inlet from the tank, the T's go to the bags and the end valves dump air?
|
Re: 1964 Suburban Pics
