OK. Let me ask you a question as well. What exactly is your combo? SBC with a short water pump and PS. What else? I should have that set-up for a short pump. 2 piece crank pully, water pump and PS. Are you running a/c or smog pump?

no ac, for now, but I have a double groove alternator...

SBC, short pump and I found that PS pump on the board so it's not original... It has a double groove crank and triple groove water pump because of the smog pump bracket it had...

I know that I need one of the following options...

1. quad crank pulley and keep my current PS pump...

2. Go triple groove crank or single insert for my double groove, then get a more "bell shaped" PS pump setup...

3. stick with manual steering (not an option)

This is the only bell style pully I have. It is for a pump shaft that has a nut and not a keyed style. In the pic a flat style like you have is next to it.

Are you sure the water pump pulley you have in the first set of pics is correct?

that's what came on my truck... pretty sure it's correct since the inner two grooves go to the alternator and the outer groove would have been for a smog pump...

I'll try to find what I need local so we don't waste our time shipping etc...

thanks for the pics. that bell shaped one might work, but it might not...ya know..
