Re: "Rice Rocket'
probably fab up a cross member/drive shaft extenstion (i dont know how big a 3 speed is), but mybe its the same size as the 3 ott? you already have a clutch pedal. Mybe someone that has done the swap will chime in :D

Re: "Rice Rocket'
Which type of 4 speed, truck or Muncie? The muncies are pretty long if I remember correctly. One might fit in the stock location.

Re: "Rice Rocket'

|
Re: "Rice Rocket'
looks good except for the floor... floor pans should be easy for you to put in.. i just patched a piece in by the cab mount bolt so i didnt have to do much patching... but still nice truck... i like seeing guys our age with trucks like this

Re: "Rice Rocket'
gawh all yall that posted up there in hs??!! were growin fellas!!!
wat kidna tranny is that lucky?? i dont want the granny low 1st tho |
Re: "Rice Rocket'
The T5 is the 5 speed that came in 3rd (and possibly 4th?) gen f bodies and maybe other vehicles too. I hear that people have good luck with them, while others keep blowing them up. I think it would be fine behind a mild motor if you didn't drive like a bat out of hell. Another member on here, Brad, has a T5 behind the six in his truck
