Yeah I love them pre runners My buddys dad has two in his shop he got from some estate sale or something like that but they are BF goodrich truck and Blazer they match and never been raced they was back up trucks that never seen dirt he had them looked at and he was told they was worth 500k each so now the sit all covered up he got them both for 30k and extras

There are a couple pictured that have this type suspension, lends itself better to suspension travel.

A "pre-runner" was a vehicle used to "pre-run" the race course (Baja) to get use to the course/obstacles and such. That way they did not wreck the race vehicle. Now "lifted" 2wd trucks get the name pre-runner.

I am going to go ahead and add Dinos truck too.. not a 73-87, but you don't see a 60-66 style often.

Sorry, I meant the single cab parked in the driveway. I actually bought the mag with that crew on the cover. That truck is amazing.

If ^ was for me, I was talking about the black truck, with the blue beadlock rings, 5 trucks down in post #16. Got sidetracked staring at all the pictures and didn't realize there was more than one black truck in there, haha. I thought there was another post by the owner on here somewhere talking about his truck, but I cannot for the life of me find it.

I think they both did... Hannemann still shows the conversion hood.. maybe they are no longer producing them.
