Re: Pics of Two-Tone Blazers
Here's a shot of the 50th Blazer that is unfortunately not getting much love in the shop currently.. Someone on the boards photochopped it from one very nice truck.

Went the traditional two-tone as on the pickups with mine. The original Medium Red with a Chevy Navaho tan from the 50s matching the tan soft top.

Webfishr, that's a really nice looking truck. I'm thinking of doing the same type of thing with mine, except yellow and white with the top being white.

I've been toying with the idea of doing a Burb "twin". Or at least my dad is PUSHING me to do it. But, I've got a '68 clip... so it may be more like Twisted's My photochop.... http://i213.photobucket.com/albums/c...r/BurbBlaz.jpg |

A few questions about your top; 1. What brand is it? 2. How difficult was it to install? 3. Overall satisfaction with the top? Would you buy it again? Thanks! |

Even the short bed trim is too long, but guys have been trimming that down for this for a long time now. We are fortunate now as another member mentioned above that a place called Mar-K Truck Parts in Oklahoma City now makes this trim specifically for the blazer since these 2 tone paint schemes have become so popular. |
Re: Pics of Two-Tone Blazers
Correction, after looking through their site, I only see the blazer modified moldings for the older style 68-69 front clips. I don't see upper moldings made to fit the 71-72 style. So it still looks like you'll have to buy short bed moldings and shorten them for the paint scheme above.

Re: Pics of Two-Tone Blazers
Finally got mine finished. Fixed the minor rust and bedlined the tub. Also put bedliner under the molding rather than paint. Powdercoated my bumpers, wheels, and tire carrier. The rest of the paint isn't great, but feel alot better about driving the truck in mud and occasional snow which is what I bought it for having not spent 5k on new paint.
