How True!
Two example codes very relevant to this thread are the Custom Two-Tone codes 562 and 563 using 512 and 529 applied like a Conventional Two-Tone's roof only scheme but using the two turquoise greens without white.

Is your truck stock ride height? Also, what size are your tires? I really like how your truck sits.

The pics of the two K series look great in that color. I never really paid much attention to that color before but it's definitely catching my eye.

I have read that it was more of a GMC color option (is this true?). The truck is very basic, it only has 5 options on the SPI:
C50 H D Rear Springs (taken off and put in storage)
511 Turquoise
E81 Pickup-Box Floor (New red oak floor going in)
Z53 Ammeter-Oil Gauge
623 Turquoise Vinyl Trim
307 3spd. manual everything.
Upgrades include:
Rebuilt motor and heads. New intake, 4bbl Carb, Cam, and electronic ign. Headers, 2 1/2" Dual exhaust with H pipe. Front disc conversion, 4, 6 drop, shock relocation, adj. track bar. Blazer tank conversion. Electric Cooling fan. 17 x 8 wheels and new tires. New rockers and cab floor patches. There are still a few things to do, but I want to get it back on the Road in the next 2 months. This sight has been great in getting to where I am at this point. I hope to be able to post some pics after I get some color on it.

I have a 511 turquoise 1969 truck but I can’t figure out how to post pictures

I bought this truck with this color. Not sure if it's Chevy or aftermarket.

An upholstery shop (specializes in hotrods) redid the seat for me. I'll check with him on where the cover itself came from. From what I understand, it is NOS material. Supposedly a company bought a bunch of the original fabric bolts from GM years ago. I do know that it is 1000000% accurate as far as original graining, pattern, embossing, and color. Wasn't cheap, but it was worth it. Totally makes the interior of the truck.

Not sure how I never saw this thread until now. Here's my original paint 69 K20 with a ceramic coating.

Well my 72 came as 518, medium green. To me a "turquoise" color. PO had it repainted with a PPG "Tropical Turquoise". It is slightly different than the stock color as the dash was not painted but rest of exterior/interior was.

Most likely SMS. They recently bought out yet another supplier when they retired.
