here is the start of making my aftermarket 67 front end fit right the roll was wrong in the hood, the hood was to long, and the fender gap was off

Re: my 72 burban

Re: my 72 burban

I can relate to your fitment work , most folks have no concept of the "behind the scenes" work involved to get uniform tight body lines these trucks didnt have that great of fit and finish from the factory and much of the aftermarket stuff is just close at best. I was afraid to keep track of the hours I had in getting a uniform 3/16 door gap on a cab job once. Very nice work and you are one bold man doin shrinks on after market sheet metal I admire your skill and tenacity!

Re: my 72 burban

nice fit, I would caution you on filler for edges it chips pretty easily better to weld a bead on edges and grind to fit its very time consuming and tedious makes ya blind an crazy by the time yur done! But your fit is very nice!

Re: my 72 burban

I did all that what ur seeing is mostly glazing putty, there is not much filler there at all. After I'm done with
y metalwork I glaze the whole panel and block it out then start piling on the primmer
