Re: Pro Street Trucks/Cars pics!!! im in love with the fatty tires!!
I was running a stock pbar and the swing was enough to piss me off my new bar goes from the PS outside fram to the outside of the trailiing arm..its like 42" long....My wheels are stock rallies that I had 6" added to the back space with stock front space....I'm waiting for them.... as soon as I get them painted and mount the tires so I can see if this is all going to work....I'm worried about tire hitting inner bed at dump?? my axles are stock..and open...booooo!!

I might put a jack on the frame behind the fuel cell, pull the springs out. Put the truck at ride height, then lower it a few inches with the jack and see how close those tires come to the frame rail. I'd be concerned the when the PH bar is level, you might be touching tire to frame. You might have already checked the geometry, but if not, better to find out now.. |

I need to start a build thread but this truck has been torn down and changed too much, so I'll just post pics where I can.

Re: Pro Street Trucks/Cars pics!!! im in love with the fatty tires!!
whats the widest wheel and tire you can fit under a stock 72 c10 half ton. Well of course lowered bout 4 to 5 inches. Backspacing specs and all on the wheels

Re: Pro Street Trucks/Cars pics!!! im in love with the fatty tires!!
I'm having 5" of backspaceing added to a stock rally wheel ..My plan is to just tub it and relocate the E brake cable...one thing I did do is relocate my panard bar from stock to from the back of the trailing arm to the oposite side outside frame ( 42" ) I have amost no side travel with 1" blocks and bags in the stock spring location and a C notch...my wheels "should" be here at teh end of the week
