A frame kind of like this? It's the starting point for my 71.

Solid Projects
That frame sure is a nice beginning piece, up here in the rustbelt they aren't quite that clean! You have to send them out for sandblasting to get back to fresh metal.
Hey Bagged78: nice find on the 2WD Blazer! Whats the plan? I have an 81 2WD I am starting. Check out the April 2003 Chevy High Performance Magazine, if you want to see a real nice 2WD Blazer, its Bright Orange. |
brad2: ABSOLUTELY! You're right on the money there partner, that's very similar to what I am doing. You go with 2x4 tubing? Looks outstanding! Who did your mandrel bends??? Is that a sheet metal brake I see in the background? Nice looking shop, wish I had a nice shop to use. I need to find a place that will do those mandrel bends for me , key word CHEAPLY!
:D :bowtie: |
I wish I had a nice shop too.......thats not my shop. Yes that is a sheetmetal brake back there. The frame rails are 2x4 and were bent by Art Morrison. It's totally amazeing to me how they are able to make such smooth bends in material like that.

Thanks littlebubba.... I was lucky to get this one, the guy didn't want to sell it, but I was in the right place when he did...
Lots of plans, but just want it to be a clean low driver, kinda like the yello one... Any pics of your 81? |
