these reality shows think we are stupid, and those that are not car or truck people, are is some ways, as i would be on some of the antique crap they find.
They wouldn't have seen the hose or anything else, but we did, and we talk about it. The guy on the show that bought it, was probably a cast member or the owner of the truck in the first place.
Its funny we sit and watch these crappy shows and thats why they are so popular. My girls daughter watches "16 and pregnant" I am dumbfounded, that the AZZhat that thought of that show has a job in the first place. Morons.
I asked her if she was getting pointers, lol, her mom reamed me a new one. lol.
Sorry, back to the topic at hand.

Yeah I watched that eposide of Auction Hunter and just could not beleive how much it sold for! And I have to think you guys might be right. That someone or a cast member owns it and just sold it on the show just for 'show'. And yeah it was kinda sad when they did show the under the hood shot and it wasn't even road ready.

Don't even get me started on Desert Valley Auto Parts. Those guys cut some many corners on their rebuilds it just sickens me. The sad part is they always call their cars a total restore work. YIKES!
