Front bumpers ARE different, guys. They are heavier gauge steel. As Todd shows, the bracketry is different.

I need to understand the REAR bumper. I didn't specify that in my post, sorry. Is it heavier like the front and what do the rear brackets look like?

Has anyone used the 1/2 ton mounts on a 1 ton? I have to find my 1/2 ton bumper but I was thinking maybe I could flip them and get them narrowed up for the 1 ton frame.

Any suggestions?

Hey Dan - I tried that and they don't quite narrow up enough...you would have to add an additional spacer, which is not a huge deal. Or you could come over my way as I have a brand new set of 1-ton rear bumper brackets...

I need to get your way and do all that 1 1/2 ton stuff, too!
