So whats your point? HE HE HE! I did have a car once that would go to 9000rpm but that was a 32 Valve All-Aluminium V8 made in a far away land. Do it with a small block with all that mass in the valve train and you can say bye bye to everything but maybe the air cleaner. |
156km/hour (97mph!) clocked by the local police radar and that's with a 160kmile 6.2 diesel blazer. Well after that stunt i didn't have to drive for a while :D :D :D

Do you guys still have that floating feeling when driving fast? Can this be fixed?

I don't think so!!!

My BBC has been 7800rpms with 3.42 gear and 28" tall tires.
Don't know if I will peg my new speedo or not, but I will know for sure next time. http://www.captkaoscustoms.com/temp/autometer1.jpg |
Chris are you going to mount your gauges like Mike or like Tom and Eddie in front of the bezel?
|
Well, It will look like Mike's, but not mounted the same, thinking global.
I had to send the Speedo and Tach back. The speedo face was cracked, and they sent the wrong tach. |
Global? That sucks about the gauges not being right and broke.
|
Yeah, as in I make a mount for them that everyone can use. I have been putting it off for years and finally stepped up.
Pissed me off too. but, Oh well.. |
Ok kinda like a custom style that fits in the bezel area. Gotcha!!
|
Sounds good! Good luck pegging that speedo :)
|
CaptKaos,
If you do try to bury that speedo needle when you get it in please don't point the truck North West when doing it. We live too close and I don't want you hitting my truck when it goes out of control !!! LOL LOL |
