255.50.18 up front and 295.45.20 in the rear...
zero issues with my coys and I also bought the wheel aluminum spacers for the front after I had already grind the hubs just to be safe..

How much is that lowered... What size and series of tires??

Mine's a stepside .. I think the fronts will work (tire / wheel size) Anyone know what fits under the stepper fenders in the rear? 69 rear end (55.5) 5" drop springs currently, maybe more later.

I love the fleets too, don't get me wrong .. Are there any steppers out there dropped with Coys / 338's?

All these trucks look fantastic, but the Orange blazer is ridiculous man. I was thinking hugger orange on my 68. WOW. I think the decision has been made.

Re: Boss 338 / Coys C5 wheel question

I'm not too sure of many steppers with them, stella mae has some nice five spokes on her, I'm working on one myself, but at this point it's a chassis and soon to have motor etc

Okay, I about had myself convinced I could live with the BOSS wheels until I saw screaminchevypickup's pictures and realized that I was in denial.

Who's got the best deal on Coy's or are they only available through Coy's/Ebay?

Also, they don't list any but do they have C-5's in 22 x 10 (for the rear)?

Buy direct from Coys.
They only make a 22x9.

NICE CHOICE, they look more aggressive to me with the lip that they have.

ayh!! The indecisiveness is driving me nuts!!! :banghead:

Now I like these:

Mr Wheeldeal quoted me a price for a few bucks less than the Coy's, the 20x8.5 has the same backspacing as the Coy's and the 20x10 is only 1/2" different (more backspacing) so, either way the Foose has the same phat lip as the Coy's.

Boss fixed the clearance problem. I just put these on this last weekend.
No clearance issues at all and they look awsome!!!

Ok did I miss something? Are these wheels a direct bolt on now?

Not that I know of.
The 67-87 trucks still require grinding on the Hd 1-1/4" rotors.
The 1" LD rotors have always been a bolt on.

I say yes they are a direct bolt on.http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/i...ons/icon14.gif
Guys we are basically putting custome wheels on thee trucks so a little grinding isn't such a big deal.

The bolt pattern is a direct bolt on. I had the minor problem of rubbing on the rear before using the 3/8 shim but it's my fault for picking the tire I did. It's not the wheels fault.

What is the name of the Foose wheels? Always thought Foose was extremely expensive?

Was wondering if you could tell me what bs do you have on your rear wheels (20x10) they have 2 different bs now so I'm trying to figure out what to go with?
It looks like your rears stick in more than the front & as it is I have the narrow 69 differential whill you have the wider 70 1/2-72.
I'm tubbed so I'm not worried about the fitment part of the bs I'm just trying to get the wheel track as close as I can.
My truck is a 69 fleetside with a disc/drum 4/7 drop
Thank you

I know this thread is old but I'm getting ready to order 22x9 with 5.5 back spacing on a 64 c10 with full Porterbuilt extreme drop member with 1" narrower arms in front just wondering if anybody else is running this combo
