So I found some rally wheels, and tires yesterday on craigslist to get me by until I find out what I want to do with a permanent set...

On the rear are 15x10. The tires are Grand Am 295/50R15.
Front are 15x7. The tires are Toyo 800 Ultra P215/60R15.

Picked up the complete set with wheels, tires, rings and moons for $225.

Also took it out for its very first drive in over ten years... Love'n It. Next on the to do list... complete exhaust system.

I would love to see some side shots with the rallies.I bought some Coys last week but was going to run that same back set up until the Coys popped up on craigslist. Oh and what is the deal on the big block in the parts section? It would be awesome in there unless you are going late model.

BB72CHEVKT... Gotta love CL. Without my burban lowered yet the wheels and tires look so/so. It needs a bigger tire up front for sure, but it got it on the road for the first time in over ten years so I'm stoked about that. I'm actually going to sell them so I can buy a set that I can rotate. Heres a little better shot of them from the side.

Hey, my kids LOVE my 'Burb. The kids at their school ALL know their dads truck. I think they like the attention. haha. My little boy calls it the "boys truck" so when he and I go somewhere, he won't let me walk out the door with moms minivan keys.

Ya know... Oregon is a LONG way from here, but if the deal is right, we could have this thing shipped right to Cornelius for $1000-$1500. (i gotta good contact) :truck:

That is a pretty solid Burb.

For yourself, or for anyone on the east side of Oregon in general?

Not for me. A guy here locally (who's also on the board-GCBURDIC-he's commented on page 1 of this thread) has been looking for a good price on a solid Burb. Tough to find here on the east coast.

Re: 1972 Custom Deluxe Suburban Barn Yard Find w/o the Barn.

This sounds really crazy, but I'm having a really hard time trying to figure out what to do. I'm almost thinking about selling them both and using the money for one that has the options plus no rust issues... if there is such a score in this day. I really wish I knew how to repair sheet metal I would try to tackle this on my own. If I was mechanically inclined I would swap out the goodies in the white one to this one, but then I struggle with stripping out a nice optioned out burban.

Anyone out there with some paint and body experience, or mechanical experience, or even experience in what is going to have more value down the road (a burb with original factory options documented in glove box, or factory options that just got transfered into another burb of the same year)?

Plus anyone out there with the paint and body experience that may want to barter for some 'as new' RRA AR's or a CZUSA Coach SBS?

Thanks for all the input, comments and ideas.

Reluctantly Listing for now...

Okay. It did have that option of 'best offer' in the listing price area.

Got ya. I tried to edit, but I can't find a way to do so. Possible to post price in comment section?

I got this suburban listed last night and also put the asking price in the comment section.

I also really don't want to take a lot of time to get this sold, so please bring any reasonable offer. Or I may start parting it out, and I would prefer someone getting a nice complete/solid original suburban and not having to disassemble this one.

Make me a reasonable offer I can't refuse. I really don't want to have to part this thing out (although I could really use a bunch of its rust free parts). If you want more pictures posted I can also do that for you.
