yeah i buy that paint by the gallon and use it on all the parts i recondition . easy to work with and a great price. you can get it at Home Depot for about $35 a gallon. just thin with acetone and you're good to go.

Good job on the paintjob. Here is a 64 chevy truck i use to own. I had the white top done at a bodyshop but the grey was done with rustoleum rattle cans by me.

We have sandblasted and painted the frames on a few cars and trucks over the years and have painted them with rustoleam rusty metal primer followed up with gloss black and it has held up very nicely over time. My 69 camaro had the subframe done in 1986 and is still 99% painted and no rust. I painted a few trucks with it too and a van. It fades after a while but for the cost you cant beat it for a low dollar project. Your truck came out nice by the way! Good luck with it in the future!
