You know i am going to find the paint code... I wonder if it in the glove box. I got to find out because of the bed cover..

It is code 72 Apple Red, it was the only red available.

I do agree with its the best red available, but i just found my paint code, wich is 72. Looked it up and it says

1987 GM Chevy Truck Bright Red 72 WA7475 C10/C30 G10/G10 P S series, medium duty ppg color book

Is it apple red or Bright red?
