Installed my LMC tank kit and recessed the top of the tank to clear lines for the Tanks Inc PA series pump. The pump needs 1 1/4" clearance from the top of tank. I only had about a 1/2". I cut out the top of the tank, made a recess plate and welded it back in. Checked for leaks and none. Was happy:metal:. Used my mig welder with 023 wire. I'm looking at Tig Machines and may get one next month.

Started the LT1 today and ran great. Had to replace the TPS. Here's a video on you tube. I hope I did the link right.

Here's a picture of the finished fuel tank with the tanks inc pa pump recessed in tank. Also a pic of the engine running. I need to finish up a few details and start on the 9" rear end transplant with disks and posi from a lincoln.

Looking good. I have done the same swap in my truck. I have an external fuel pump with a return line run into the original sending unit but the pump is noisy so it's time to go with a rear tank set up.

The in tank pump is the only way to go. I had an external pump on my last truck and drove me nuts. I don't hear this one at all. Only when you first turn the key on. I used the Tanks Inc PA series. I got the I believe 4 series Incase I want to go with and LS engine latter, this pump with supply the extra pressure. Its only $10 more.

Looking clean, I've still got wires all over the place in my wagon and I've been driving it daily for almost a year...

It's kinda fun driving them. I have the bed off mine and get the weirdest looks when driving. I love how my truck runs. Thank for looking and your comments. I'll look at yours.

I haven't done anything of note to the '66 yet, but here's a little documentation on my LT1

http://youtu.be/2WKq61_O49w

I'm not sure what I want to do with my C10, a 350 that looks like a 283, or an LS based motor. It almost got my LT1, but when my wagon's 307's head gasket started leaking, that was that.

Looks good. Can't beat fuel injection. I think the LS based motor would be nice.

Just finished installing the 2.5" CPP drop spindles with 1" drop springs. Upgraded the disks to slotted rotors and powder coated calipers. Very pleased with how it handles. Next weekend rear sway bar, shocks and new trac bar.

I've been horrible about keeping up with pics. Here's some of the rear end.

This one is the trac bar bracket I built.

Worked on the bed today. Was able to save the bed side. The tail light panel needed replaced. Was able to cut it and only replace the bottom.

Tail panel welded in and side straightened out.

Thanks, the other side is pretty bad and will need more work. Probably end up replacing the bed side and the tail light panel for sure.
