Re: What makes the true value of a truck
Condition and location are the biggest factors for the actual value of the trucks. A true rust free truck is worth a lot more in NY than Arizona.

Re: What makes the true value of a truck
I think the economy is a huge factor in the price of our trucks.

Re: What makes the true value of a truck
I think "value" is a relative term. Whats valuable to me, might not trip someone elses trigger.
To me a truck with added value is one that is somewhat stock and in good condition. I have my own ideas of what I want to do to one--and sometimes its kinda expensive to buy someone elses "custom restore" because the first thing I might have to do is "undo" whats been done. I have seen our trucks sell for very little--and Ive seen people at Barrett-Jackson throw away a lot of money on a truck. (once again--in my opinion) Really, Im just jealous cause I cant go drop $30-40K on a truck. Im waiting for a frame draggin, lambo doored, whaletailed, electric 68----- But, again to me Value is increased by condition of vehicle- |
Re: What makes the true value of a truck
As a whole these trucks aren't rare but original 4x4's and other segments of the 67-72 population are rare. They made more corvettes in 68 than K20's. Swb big blocks are another example.

May want to recalibrate your ValueMeters
This truck is worth at least $25,700 with 3 days left to go. Go to school and figure out why it's worth this amount. ebay link
