Jeff, I may have that info...I'll have to check my papers at the house. A member coppied a whole bunch of stuff and snail-mailed it all to me.
I need to put them up on a site to share...

longhornmail,

I'd love to see it if you can get it posted someplace.

jef5150,

Does it have to be an ORIGINAL factory manual? Do the repros not have this info?

Thought I would post a pic of the CC(pieces) I pulled off a '69. It looks like longhornmails' with the extra plug. Plug in reads: Hold, Engage, Light
Let me know if you need a pic of the rest of the harness and I'll try to get a good one.
Matthew

longhornmail,

Notice that one looks like it has a three wire connector where mine is only two. Perhaps yours was once a 3-prong?

mkmiller1,

That is a 3 wire connector isn't it? Kinda hard to tell from that pic, but it looks like it.

Thanks.

Extra Wire

Since this is the same cruise master Unit that GM used on all vehicle until the 80's, could it be the conector in question is off of something like a Buick or Oldsmobile that has a light on the Instriment Cluster that is lit when the Cruise Control is engaged??:flag:

Cruise

I recently add Cruise control to my 69, I pulled everything I needed of a late 70 Olds, for $25. I'll post some picture Tommorow, It look almost identical to a factory set up for these trucks, however The connector on the regulator also had the 3rd wire mention earlier in the post, which is not used. :flag:

the manual was printed in 1970,....it shows a 2 wire connector , like you have, 1 white wire, 1 brown w/white stripe going to the regulator...thats it!!....then on the other side of the firewall you should have 1 brown wire,1 blue wire,1 black wire. These are connected to your " electric release & stop lamp switch", the same color wires are connected to the other side of this switch,& continue up your steering column to the control lever.......Directly above that electric brake switch on your brake pedal should be a "vacuum release switch"with 1 vaccum line connected to it.,,,,,,,,,,,is this any help??/

It helps...thanks.
