A] 68orange is correct, 67-68 dash bezels are different than 69-72 with the left side having wipers on top lights on bottom. Right side top position is the choke and manual throttle would be below that when optioned.

B] Another oddity. Also the 67 dash is trimmed in argent silver paint rather than plasti-chrome.

A] Thanks for the support.
B] India Black is the flat black color, but is it Argent Silver, or Silver Fawn Irridescent [Metallic]? Fremont sprayed a hell of a lot of Fawn on the '67s & '68s interiors. But yeah, it's definitely not a plasti-chrome.

The info I have is on this 67 paint chart that was originally posted by SSTIM. It shows argent silver on the instrument panel and compartment door (glove box). It does look like fawn was the most widely used interior color, it was used with a bunch of exterior colors on the chart.

Sorry for getting off topic there... The RHD is pretty cool but russw truck is the most awesome odd ball RHD truck! I dig it :smoke:

Guys check my thread in my sig, I am in SA and have a Canadian imported v8 C10, 70 model which is RHD, column shift and shifter on the left side and flicker lever on the right side. Also note this truck was originally LHD and when GM SA brought them in SA they converted to RHD and used gear linkages etc, which I can take pictures of to show the guys. All factory mods.

Hey Zubz. I remember your truck. I would love to get some images of where the linkages were the shift rods cross over the transmission.

On a RHD TriFive they looked something like this:

hey Russ, sorry buddy its been hectic myside, we also into winter and due to renovating at home the yard is a mess. I will be moving the truck soon so will get pics for you, I bought a 71 c10 which is like 1000km's away from me, I plan to go this coming long weekend to collect it, its mostly for parts so a donor. This truck is also a RHD with column shift and if you interested I am willing to sell some parts off and I can ship them anywhere.

Looking at your pic that is cool, I notice is done underneath whereas on ours the linkages and rods are all in the engine bay.

Argent Silver. OK. When I repainted my instrument panel, I trimmed it in Fawn -- since I had a can of it, anyway. I'm sure a Concours would ding me points for that, but it's a DD. I think it looks cool and matches the steering column, but I'm the only one who cares.
As the Gentlemen from the Antipodes have indicated, this is a thread about RHD, and I apologize for the distraction.
