Here you go a few pictures of the speakers, finding ones with grills is getting hard to find. And they need to be as low profile as you can get them. So they miss the top of the instrument cluster and the glove box inner.
Like I said good sound quality, but nothing that'll rattle the bolts out of the truck. Quote:

well, the dash is in, need to finish up a few welds and clean it up a bit, but it shouldnt be too bad. I kept putting this off, worst part was getting each edge under the dash. i ended up doing the lap weld method. worked great! thanks for the help tlcrz1972!

No problem, I don't mind helping a brother out. Lap welding is just easier and your less prone to blowing the metal away if it were butt welded.
And you don;t go through the problem of drilling out spot welds and risking other problems. Quote:
