Well all I have done is what you see. That coil is what I had laying around. As soon as i figure out the electrical issue I bet it will fire right off. Coil has enough juice to burn the hair of a spiders keister.

I had to "convince" the coil bracket to accept a skinny smoother coil. I homemade a L bracket and welded it on...that sucker is not going anywhere.

Those are some decent looking mirrors. I have no idea what i will use since mine are gone. lol

if I remember correctly the new wheels will not fit your truck. The lug pattern is the same but the center whole is too small for the older trucks. You can get 73-87 bud wheels from a newer dully if you are wanting to keep it dual wheel. I have a set for my
'65.

I think they work; I've seen quite a few older trucks with them (I almost put some on mine). Lug nuts and studs might need to be changed; IIRC you can get a 9/16" lug nut that works with the caps, I'm not sure about 1/2" stuff. They are called "PYO" wheels, BTW. I think the 67-72 guys have a couple threads, I'll try to dig one up.

OH SNAP it looks like they will fit! I have single wheels I lucked out don't have a dully. Guess i better jump on them huh? lol

So this happened after I bumped the valve cover with a rubber mallet.......I WILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN!

It...Im not quite sure how long it took. I was lucky and rigged a shop vac i got 90% or more of it all re oiled everything...except for all that goo/dried goo. The top of the head was perfect no sludge...

Nope, you didnt . I did look at some mirrors. I figured that would be later though I have to fix the half melted rats nest under the dash. I plan on doing it this saturday. I will totally post a picture...If i can get it to run in the same day I will try to post a vid.
