looks like the same setup ford used into the 70s, just saw a ford 4x4 at the stockton pick and pull a couple weeks back that had it. now that a pic has been posted, it sure looks like it would work ??????????? i know it would take some work AND it wouldn't be original but i'm betting it could be done for someone just wanting p-s on an older 4x4.

on portland craigslist there is a Dodge set up that is probably the same...both have a closed knuckle dana 44.. worth a look anyway
