Thanks guys. I finally got my power steering worked out. New pulley solved the problem. Tomorrow afternoon the weather is supposed to be nice, so I plan to get the cab primed

Even though I didnt ask ,thanks for posting those pics of the power steering setup as I have been trying to figure out how it mounts on a 6 cylinder .Im planning to do that to my 74 and its fits in that location.

Flashed, I hope it helped. Anybody that has done it will tell you to try and buy a complete setup from one vehicle, all brackets and ALL pulleys. Having done it the hard way, I can tell you, that is great advice. If I can help with any pulley numbers, let me know.

Watching everyone else's build is what has helped me deal with mine being in the bodyshop the last almost 3 years and I learn from you all .

Re: 70 Short Stepside

Can someone tell me the purpose of the bolts at the front and back of inner rocker to the cab supports. Were they there originally to hold things together for alignment. I can't see any purpose for them now if everything is welded together.

I cant say what the purpose is, but I did the same thing you’re considering. Get everything lined up and weld it in.

Nice build...glad you kept the L6
