Re: Got 2.1 runs in with new setup
If and 'when' you do the antiroll,, don't make the mistake I made (over and over) buying the cheep Jeggs and Comp Engineering units. I tore up no less than 4 of them (@ $180 each) before I wised up.

Re: Got 2.1 runs in with new setup
Was looking at one of these Marv, it looks like you have to weld the ends, splined likely is a better idea, was thinking of mounting it to my shock tower, or would a separate crossover tube for it be better?

Re: Got 2.1 runs in with new setup
Actually they do have a splined one too, this one looks way better,

Re: Got 2.1 runs in with new setup
If I remember right we put a Jerry Bickel in mine, but it is a full welded deal; no splines, no bolts through the tube.

I used the Bickel extreme anti roll. It is 2'' and used bigger bearings obviously. Mine is 24'' wide. It is overkill for the power level that I should have currently , but I dont have hardly any room for tire clearance on either side of the tire. I will probably have some power at some point down the road.I just cant have any body roll lol. The wishbone is a Bickel also. I can give you deminsions if you need them for a stock frame. The anti roll is splined with a groove to mount the arms. It was done with the tubing for the anti roll bracing the upper shock mount like you are talking about.

Re: Got 2.1 runs in with new setup
Can I get some pics of how the main mounts, and a side picture please.

ok these are a little cleaner with no tires or radiator. This is the kit as it comes from Bickel, the bearing mounts are welded directlly to the frame. Cut the bolt holes off and weld it in . Thats the only change made from the way it comes. Let me know if this is what you need . I can take more tommorow.

Re: Got 2.1 runs in with new setup
Thanks.
That looks like the same design as the one I was looking at, I'll have to put my truck up on stands an do some measuring and visualizing. |
Re: Got 2.1 runs in with new setup
Just curious what driveline combination your running? I remember it was 3700 plus lbs.

Re: Got 2.1 runs in with new setup
Right now, built turbo 350, and a fab 9" with Moser parts, when I go to my new motor I'm planning I'll be going to a glide.

Re: Got 2.1 runs in with new setup
Unless you can get the truck down below 3500lbs I would do the turbo 400 instead of the glide!
