I used some U bolts from ACE as tie downs.
Had to remove the tail lights and use a Universal, as well as a crows foot to get the nuts threaded down. A little like building a ship in a bottle. Cost 5 bucks, and took about two beers. I don't normally drag up old threads, but there was a lot of good ideas on this one. -Russ |

I'm impressed with your wrenching ingenuity..I may have to give up on the duck taping a wrench to paint stick......More than a few hrs making these, channel from scrap yard, enough for 4 tie downs and a spare tire mount.
