Actually, i have talked with him personally at his shop. He's a great guy. I've been able to watch his progress over the last year. Which isn't much since he's been at the truck for such a long time. he actually took a break from it so not all ten years were spent working. And he did in fact build the bed by hand. Not just modified one. He built it. He also has a 34 f@$D coupe that is perfect condition.

Maybe what I posted came across wrong. I wasn't try to take away any credit, just give the facts as I was told them, and what he had printed up on a "facts" sheet. It stated that the floor of the bed was from a 94, and he built the rest...

Actually on the magazine thing. Because he won at the Goodguys show, he will get a full article in Classic Trucks Magazine and a full page writeup in the Goodguys magazine. The judges for the show are part goodguys staff and part Classic Trucks staff (and maybe others).
