And the URL..........

Just a little picture posting site that allows you to make a folder public. Check out the pictures and let me know if you have any questions. I hope this helps everyone out and maybe answers some questions. Also...let me know if anyone wants these pictures posted directly to the board. I thought the URL would just be a little easier.

True but not true every blazer I have ever seen has the hardware behind the seat and mine both have the holes in the back of the seat. My one blazer that I have owned for 24yrs has an optional backseat and its jack came from behind the drivers seat because I am the idiot as a 15yrold that yanked it out. So I think that unless you find some original owner who can tell you how it was its going to be hard. My jack was held in by the spring as well that I do remember. You design on the handel etc. is in the right direction. I remember how neatly it was tied in as I yanked it out

Again, I guess Chevy did it a little different truck to truck for reasons we will never know. I just repeated what I could read from the instructions sticker (another thing everyone doesn't have for some reason). "Jack location with rear seat only"
I have not had my truck forever, but it is very unmolested and original. I may have the mounting holes in the floor but the carpet is original and there is no indication of mounting the jack behind the front seat.
I think this is what is so great about our trucks, they are all unique in different little ways.

Alright...what about us that have the factory exterior swing away spare tire carrier. The handle/wrench is the same, but were is the jack?

Yes - Thank you for the pics. I didn't realize this would turn into such an involved discussion.

My question is answered!
