I have a snap on cordless impact that's about 9 years old. Works fantastic. I did have to get a couple new batteries last year(ni-cad). Other than that its been trouble free other than a lock ring hear and there.

Thats what i run at work on 18volt 1/2 impact, 18 volt drill and 2 14.4 volt 3/8 inpacts i looked at upgrading to the newer snap ons but wasn;t realy to spend 1000 buxs on upgrading it all so i send them all in and had them rebulit for 100 buxs a piece and some new batteries and they going strong still
