What is circled in red Richard....needing the last 3-4" of roof from drip rail flange to 1/2" above body line. Need around 40" of length.

I really don't know why I am being so dense on this, I just keep looking at the pic you posted and it looks like you need the part i have the yellow arrow at. Or is that what you were trying to cut and went too high into the roof half?

Re: Suburban metal cuts
I think i am going to go lay down and revisit it in the morning.

Hey Richard, this is what I am trying to fill in. This should explain I need the drip rail flange on the roof that gets spot welded to the drip railing. Then I am asking you to cut it just above the extra body line that a Burb roof has. I burnt through one of mine when I was trying to remove it.

Here is what I cut out. I unbolted it from the lower half. The pc is just shy of 48" just bc it made no difference in the shipping cost from 40''. anything longer than 48'' and the cost almost doubled being over sized. If I did not cut it correctly I still have the entire driver side to try again lol. $55 shipped if it is correct. PP in my sig below Thanks . |

Re: Suburban metal cuts
Richard, I may be needing a 8-10” piece of inner pillar off a driver’s inner b pillar. I’ll let you know tomorrow.

Actually Richard, those are perfect for me. I am working on finishing my inner roof and need pieces to transition from the pillars to the I need roof as shown. Before I finish welding and grinding, I wanted to get a game plan.

So you basically only need the inner metal overlay like I have boxed here, or do you need the entire thickness of it all the way to the outside roof?
DO you need any of the horizontal cover above the doors? . |
Re: Suburban metal cuts

Basically, that is all I need Richard. I do not need any of the pieces above the door. I already have my whole inner roof mocked up other than finishing it out and these pieces. If you can cut out both of those for me as I need two for each side. Maybe 3" inches below the door weatherstrip channel intersection but above the shoulder harness hole. Thanks Trevor

Re: Suburban metal cuts
Looking for drivers side rear frame section from axle crossmember to bumper. I need it for a Blazer. If you have one from Suburban hoping it might work.

The tail end of the suburban is different from the 72' Blazers. Here are a couple pictures to show the difference. If your Blazer is 69-71 the frame just cuts off flat at the rear but I do not have one here to verify if they are indeed swapable.
1st picture shows suburban tail end Attachment 1960934 2nd pic shows how the blazer turns down a lot sharper. This frame is not for sale. You might check with 1Rippen6 he usually has some blazer stuff Attachment 1960935 |
Re: Suburban metal cuts
Thanks. With the turn down on Blazer not sure I could make the Suburban piece work.

I see you said you don't have any good lower metal, what about the driver's rear wheel well? I need a small section at the front, 4" up and 3" toward the rear to include the corner.
Attachment 1973201 I can take a better picture with tape on the wheel well if it would communicate better. This is the area I'm trying to patch. Attachment 1973203 |
