Keep us up-to-date on how well this is all working for you.

Re: Hot Weather, Fuel Injection & 383 Stroker
I'm planning to use the Edelbrock fuel system which runs only a vent back to ththe tank. That way I can use the vapor vent line that is already there. This is my plan but you know how plans are.

Excellent, I have a sniper on my Camaro. That 427 SBC will be coming out and going in the C10 with the sniper as well. I love it so far, from what little I've driven it. Was fighting some RFI issues at first but I got those cleaned up with some better wiring. I think you'll really like it!

The recommendation of a better HEI module is interesting. Not something that would've come to mind immediately.

The master kit comes with the clamps. I believe my exhaust to be 2.5" and the clamps worked out just fine. Anything smaller and you might have an issue getting the clamps tight. Only stuff I was extra wiring, hard fuel line and some different angled fittings. Probably could have used everything hte kit had to offer, but did not want it to look messy

Oh, and so far loving it. Nice to turn the key and have it fire right up. Only tweak has been the idle.

More proof that people thinking Snipers don't work in hot weather climates are wrong.

The other benefit is the throttle response. I know a carb can be tuned, but who has time to deal with that, especially when it is not a daily driver. Plus now this thing now gets up and goes. The next problem to tackle is the underhood temperatures and install some sort of custom cold air intake, so its not breathing 300 degree air. |
