I would vote for white letters on the inside, no trim rings. I think losing the white letters will clean up the look more than trim rings will.

Darn nice looking truck! I think it needs the rings. I also think the shell needs the stripe painted to match the truck. ;)

Totally agree on the shell repaint and already planning on doing that. That unicorn of a shell was tough to find. I don't imagine a lot of folks bought short bed trucks to use for camping.

I have 7" wheels on the front, and 8" on the back. I added smooth rings to mine, 2" on the 7's and 3" on the 8's
