I own a registered 1/2 ton 1972 truck born in Ca with smog accessories. I never received a letter.
With Steeveedee here. For those rationalizing CARB. It consists of appointed persons by the governor to do his will, they were not elected. FWIU CARB only exists because of a waiver by the federal government. CARB has expanded and abused it's powers for what the waiver was intended.

Absolutely! But along with this, they have a huge influence with the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) that I'm sure also interjects. The BAR also has --what should I say--law enforcement powers over repair facilities regarding the smog program and licensing , bunch of kangaroo sh...

I would love to see this change in the next 4 years. It is a huge crock of crap what they are able to get away with, all on the premise of man made climate change fear mongering.

I spend almost half my time in northern ca...I don't like it. short nice restaurant selection and my girlfriend. There's reason for negative population growth despite the influx of foreigners from all parts of the world. World money, politics, theft from services to helping oneself a way of life, fast, and weird.

Kal make laws often to be broken, politics & $. For example, I understand triple chrome is no longer allowed in California. But I know a place that does it anyway because "govt. is happy to take the revenue." Come to think of it, speak of theft, they tried stealing my bumper.

Garden equipment are mandated electric, but services use gas all the time. On a side, my grilfriend has an EV; it's expensive and inconvenient.

They are expensive for a good quality mower. I bought a Toro from a dealer not Home Depot it was $750 . It’s outlasted the $250 MDTs and the other crap that the box store sell 10 times over .

I gave $600 for essentially the same Honda in 1987. Just finished its 38th season.
