My 91 long bed.
1 Attachment(s)
My father bought it when I was 8 or 9 back in '98. It was given to me in about July of '04. It has stock wheels and my dad put small tires on it and I just left it like that for now since I didn't pay for the new tires even though I did waste them. They are 265/35/15 and throw my speedometer off 5 mph. It is stock except for the true dual 2 1/4 inch exhaust which runs through cherry bomb glasspacks. I like it because it gives it a different sound and everyone has flowmasters. It has 222,000 miles. No major work done to the engine ever. rebuilt 700R4. Had it repainted about 2 years ago after they broke into it at walmart where my mom works. Future plans include updated grille with billet or caddy clip, traditional cadillac, long and low. at first I wanted a 2/4 drop but then I realized you always want more so I'll do it right the first time with a 4/6. I want neeper 22's. I want to repaint it with the glossiest baddest black ever seen. I want a decent amount of hp somewhere around 450 and 550. I like it, it was my first truck. I do want to save for a short bed and apply everything to that but I don't mind it being different.

My 1988 C2500 LongBox Pickup
-71blksuper4x4, I can't wait until that "Beast" of yours is done. Its going to be Bad A$$.
-Everybody Else, Nice Trucks everyone. Keep up the good work! I just bought this 1988 LongBox Pickup about 2 months ago for pretty cheap from a buddy. It has 32" A/T tires, blown F.I. 350 with Hooker Headers and about 5-6 Feet of Straight Piped Exhaust. Its pretty loud but I am hoping to put some FlowMasters or Cherry Bomb mufflers on it and run the exhaust out right in front of the back tires or all the way back. This picture is not very good but it is the only one I have: http://img123.exs.cx/img123/8742/1988pickup26vr.jpg :bowtie: 4 Ever -Peace |

1badgmc. Man o man! That's one smooth stepper. I never knew I liked Miata blue so much either. Congrats on a fine truck.
|
Thanks, Boog. What's even stranger than finding that a Miata color looks so good is that I first noticed the color on a Toyota Tacoma!

Since th board reorged I though I would restart this to get our rides together in one spot again and get the new guys in that maybe hasn't found this section of the board yet.
Here is my daily driver in its latest configuration 96 GMC Vortec 350, AirAid Intake System, Flowmaster 50 Dual cat system, Rancho Shocks, 73-87 style ralleys with F-rd trim rings, and the original GMC center caps. BFG 31 x10.50x15 tires. The bling-bling euro tails were way cheaper than stock replacment lenses, so they ended up on the truck too. It's a bit rough (especially when you get up close) but I love it as a driver. |
Heres my driver
88 street scene mirrors APC roll pan 3/5 drop weld drag lites (blah need some factory ss wheels or some bling) Carb'd 350 hooker comp shorties 3 inch single exaust to a flowmaster 40 series 91 style silverado interior some Jazzy paint and some cool stripes. http://pic4.picturetrail.com/VOL752/...1/95256187.jpg |
