Re: Started my first frame off - 72 SWB LS1, 6-spd manual
Looks good so far. I am doing the same build right now, but I am a little ahead of you. Check out my build thread. I tried to be specific about the parts that I used hoping that I could help out the next guy. Good luck.

http://www.infantimachine.com/products.htm I found them on the web. The filler neck fit great. you end up using very little filler. I purched all of plates for around $80 with shipping. Saved me time. |
Re: Started my first frame off - 72 SWB LS1, 6-spd manual
Ck out ebay, there is a reputable seller on there that sells variuos types of fill plates for our trucks. Can't remember the name, sorry.

Re: Started my first frame off - 72 SWB LS1, 6-spd manual
making a little progress -I bolted in the engine and transmission where I want it. I installed the notch kit into the frame. machined both front rotors to fit the Boss 338's 20x10 rears and 18x8's up front.

Re: Started my first frame off - 72 SWB LS1, 6-spd manual
Nice. How come you have TWO LSx motors?
|
Re: Started my first frame off - 72 SWB LS1, 6-spd manual
I couldn't help but notice the longer studs up front on your rotor. I assume you are running a thin spacer behind your front wheels? Is this how you got your Boss center caps to fit on there without cutting the spindle shaft and dust cover? I'm pretty familiar with the 338 mods required on the rotorsHere.
