Orange,
I believe it's a 3/4 drop using coils and 20's front and rear. |
Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
JIMS1972, what size tires are you running? I think I want to go 3.5/5 on my 68. I'm gonna run 275/60/15 rear and 255/60/15 front.

This may be a stupid question but how do i get them to come up without using attachments?
|
Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
You can also add them by having them on another site, like photobucket.com. Then you just include the link with the insert image command inb the advanced menu.
http://myweb.cableone.net/wpalfrey/cab/p040.jpg or you can type the image commands with the complete web address in between them (no spaces in the adderess) Oh yeah, BTW...love your truck!!!! |

Here's a few pics of mine. Just got it all tuned up with new accel cap rotor wires and plugs, reset the timing, and adjusted the valves just to drive it down the road and blow a head gasket!! I had alot of plans for this truck since it has such a straight body with minimal rust but don't really have the time to work on her anymore.

Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
Here's a few pics of my '67. I've had it since I was 15, I'm the second owner bought from a local dealership, did all the work at my dad's place with lots of his help (and my taste, lol).
http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...13_17_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...13_18_full.jpg http://memimage.cardomain.net/member...13_19_full.jpg It's currently undergoing some changes over the next month or so, 2" cowl hood, lower stance (debating between going the full bore bagged set-up or just a 4/6 its about a 3/3.5 or so now) and some wider rubber under her rearend. |
Re: Post Your Ride 67-72 Trucks
first off... it's your truck, do what you want. but if i were you, i think your truck is too classy to bag. i'd go with the static drop. and cowl hoods arent my thing, so i wont say anything about that. but thats a drop dead gorgeous truck. good work man
