For around $10K you can get a custom 2wd chassis from Jim Meyer and have one of the sweetest 2wd's around.

I've actually been considering this idea for my 72. It is probably at least 5 years off, so I have time to talk myself out of it...

Gentlemen, I'd like to politely direct you to the forum where all the items are fine examples of what other stuff like it is selling for. Maybe you could browse through there to find out what other trucks like yours are selling for.

I would also like to politely suggest that you go back and read Liz's sticky thread at the top of the page, then decide for yourself if you'd like to edit your recent posts to eliminte questions about what mods do in the forum.

It seems obvious to me that you are getting painfully close to eliminating a section of the board that a lot of members enjoy visiting. It will be obvious to everyone here that it was your choice to have it eliminated, since you've been warned very publicly about the consequences of your current actions.

Actually, that forum says it is for ebay finds, not discussions about the value of our trucks, which is what the thread that got moved was about. Why hasn't this thread been moved? It's about a truck on ebay.

An admin moved the other thread, I've replied to that (and locked it 'cuz ya'll will argue). Your posts are in violation of the rules against "trolling". Now it is for anything not found on the parts board. Thank you for pointing out the loophole, now it's closed and all threads pertaining to trucks for sale will be moved there.

It's interesting how this Blazer's reserve is past the price he was asking on Collector Car Trader.

Conspiracy Theory: The auction is private because there is one or a couple of people that are building up the price for when it is relisted. :lol:

I guess he wants his whole $50K back. $35K was at the outer limits of reasonable for that truck. I'm suprised it got to that on Ebay.

It was a private sale so his buddies can bid it up to the reserve price with out anyone else knowing. I'm not suprised.
