I have been reading this thread since the start and must say everyone has had some great points. We need all the different syles of trucks and cars, from the clean and not a bolt out of place originals to the super sick pavement rubbers. all of these are not just personal favorites to each of us but it's a part of our history. if folks didn't think outside of the box in the past and try some different things we wouldn't have NASCAR, Formula 1, dirt tracks or any racing sports that we all enjoy today. Just my opinion.. I personally enjoy each and everyone of the rigs on this site. So keep making history, and think outside of the box if it calls you to.

I found a couple chopped roofs that I find appealing. Not too little, not too much.

Agreed. Those are very appealing... plus it looks right because they are slammed..... stock ride height + radical chop = :barf:
The blue one is a photochop though, but still cool nonetheless.

Very refreshing to see different viewpoints expressed in a respectful fashion. Makes this board great.
I'm not a fan of the chopped look, but I am a fan of the attention to detail and craftsmanship this takes.
You build your truck, I'll build mine.
I hate it when people say, I would have done this,or I wouldn't have done this.
I tell 'em go buy your own truck and I'll save you a space at the next cruise-in.

I would imagine from the post that I have read on this site.......

If we all met in 1 big parkin lot....with all our trucks....we could talk trucks for days and make friends for life!

Aint seen 1 truck on any of these pages that hasnt made me grin......cept for the ones in the fields and wreckin yards.

Build em if ya got em!

Hey Tony,
Dont Lurk in the back-ground,you dont have to agree w/what alot of us are doin. You shine in your own area of expertise and thats what its all about. Im subscribed to your stocker thread. I like seeing them w/the black painted wheels and white hub caps, although I would like to see one of those layin frame,,,but I cant help that.;)

If we all did the same thing it wouldn't be as intersting as it is now. We need the diversity. I for one love all of the hard work and craftsmanship that goes into any well done ride no matter what it is. Just my .02 ;)

None of my projects have ever wowed anyone, except the preservationist-types, so maybe I need to lurk in the back-ground and cater to the builders looking for good, used OEM parts, needed to preserve their truck to original or near original specs.

Man your trucks wow me. I'll raise a glass to you and your work!
Dont lurk in the back ground ,it's been said before : we need ALL types of trucks ,from stock to choped . This is what keeps, or makes this fourm so cool the diffrent build aproches, and results. I know some people may not like what Ive done to my truck, and I am good with that.
