im running the fuel pump on the side on the motor the mech one and i didnt convert the truck to carb'd when i bought it it was carb'd i just went with the flow and put another carb'd motor in it i still have all the wiring there to go to tbi but i like carb'd better

Since I am a welder and a fabricator... I am going to give this a shot... I am going to do something different and we shall see if it passes my wuality control...

I am thinking a different looking and different way of mounting it... I will leave the rest as a surprise and guys can compare my hood to yours.. Cheers for the idea! Good luck on the build man!

that cowl hood looks awsome man. i think you gave me an idea for my truck. beats spending a few hundred buck when you can do it yourself.

thats not wet paint its dry just needs to be wet sanded and buffed

haha yes but i need to get this truck on the road so i have something to drive and now that snow is starting to fly i will be plowing and the truck wont have down time so itll be a next summer job when i go through it and fix all the little things that need to be fixed its got a list of things it needs like new tie rod ends tranny needs to be replaced soon frame needs to be fixed its gonna need brakes and shocks... it needs a list so itll be the next project so plan on seeing a built thread for it sometime in the near future

heres my question, how did you seperate the top sheet metal from the structure of the hood when you made your cowl?... im attempting to make one too, I found a hood on the side of the road lol

i just cut down the lines and made sure not to cut the supports under it and i just picked up the back and popped the glue off the supports

woow thats nice, i have the exact same truck as that, same year step side and all. i got it for free with no motor. so i drooped a small block in it to.that one looks way better then mine tho. mine is just used for a 4x4 tho. :metal::metal:
